Chapter 10.14 RESIDENTIAL PERMIT PARKING
10.14.030 Permit required--Application.
A. Unless a valid zone parking permit be properly displayed, no vehicles
shall be parked upon any street or public way within a residential permit
parking district within the hours designated for restricted parking.
B.
Permanent residents within the permit parking district may apply to the city
police department for a permit to park their vehicle(s) upon the streets or
public ways of the permit parking district in which such applicant
resides.
C. No fee shall be charged for the issuance of a parking
permit.
D. A parking permit shall be issued for each vehicle owned by the
applicant, upon proof that such applicant is a resident of the permit parking
district and presentation of the current vehicle registration.
E. Permits
issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be valid for a period ending
June 30th each year and must be renewed annually on or before that date.
F.
A permit issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be personal,
nonassignable, and nontransferable. Each such permit shall be valid only for a
specifically prescribed vehicle.
G. Each resident shall receive one visitor
pass. Violations in the use of the visitor pass will result in the revocation
of such pass issued to the resident.
H. Residents may obtain additional
single-day permits for special events. (Ord. 1751-2003 §2(part),
