Chapter 10.16 RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
10.16.010 Definitions.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
A. “Recreational travel trailer” means a camping
body which exceeds neither eight feet in width nor forty feet in length, when
equipped for the road, mounted on a chassis, or frame with wheels, and designed
to be drawn by another vehicle, and which is subject to registration pursuant to
the terms of Section 66-3-3, NMSA 1978.
B. “Recreational
vehicle” means a vehicle which is composed of a chassis, or a frame with
wheels, which either has its own motive power or is drawn by another motor
vehicle, and a camping body primarily designed or converted for use as temporary
living quarters for recreational, camping or travel activities, and which is
subject to registration pursuant to the terms of Section 66-3-408, NMSA 1978.
