The Personnel Department:

• Advertises and assists in recruiting qualified candidates to fill vacant positions
• Keeps records of all personnel transactions, such as hiring, promotions, transfers, and termination's
• Investigates all complaints concerning personnel matters and prepares all necessary reports
• Conducts wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wage rate
• Represents the City at personnel-related hearings and investigations
• Develops and implements City personnel rules and regulations
• Plans and carries out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity
• Administers Drug Free Program
