Update on Curry County Winter Weather to Include Road Closures

CLOVIS, NM (January 8, 2024) – The Clovis/Curry County Office of Emergency Management is advising residents to check road conditions before traveling. New Mexico road conditions can be found at nmroads.com and Texas road conditions can be found at drivetexas.org. 

When traveling, residents are encouraged to follow these winter driving tips: 1) slow down; 2) leave extra space between yourself and other vehicles; 3) do not use cruise control; 4) do not brake or turn quickly; 5) pack an emergency supply kit.
