The Clovis City Commission Approves Construction of Gold Star Families Memorial Marker

CLOVIS, NM (June 6, 2024) – The Clovis City Commission has approved the construction of a Gold Star Families Memorial Marker at Veterans’ Park to honor all Armed Forces of America families whose loved one made the ultimate sacrifice defending the United States of America. This marker has now been installed, and there will be a dedication ceremony at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8 th , 2024 at Veteran’s Park.

The City of Clovis would like to invite the community to attend the dedication ceremony to remember the Gold Star families whose loved one paid the ultimate
sacrifice for our Nation’s freedom. The City of Clovis thanks the New Mexico Garden Clubs, Inc., Gold Star Families, VFW Post 3280 and Auxiliary in facilitating
this Marker at Veterans’ Park.
