CLOVIS, NM (June 18, 2024) – In response to the request from the Lincoln County Emergency Operations Center, the Clovis Fire Department (CFO) and the Clovis/Curry County Emergency Manager (OEM)  have mobilized to assist with the ongoing fire in Ruidoso, NM. The Clovis Fire Department organized a task force comprising two Type 1 engines, an ALS ambulance, and a command vehicle. This team of twelve CFD personnel is traveling to Ruidoso to aid in the structural protection efforts at the South Fork fire.
