City of Clovis to Host the 2024 New Mexico Municipal League Annual Conference
CLOVIS, NM (August 12, 2024) – The City of Clovis will be hosting the New Mexico Municipal League annual conference August 13th-16th, 2024. Approximately 400 governmental officials from around the Land of Enchantment are anticipated to be in attendance.
Many sessions and activities have been arranged for conference attendees during the week by the New Mexico Municipal League, a nonprofit, nonpartisan association that represents New Mexico’s cities, towns and villages. Tuesday, August 13th, delegates will assist with a Community Service Project at the Salvation Army to support the non-profit organization. Throughout the conference, business sessions will be held at the Clovis Civic Center covering diverse areas of government operations. Attendees will also attend subsection committee and business meetings. Activities have been arranged downtown on Wednesday evening to showcase the downtown district.
“The City of Clovis looks forward to welcoming governmental officials from throughout the state, and for the opportunity to showcase our community,” advised Clovis Mayor Michael Morris. “We have many items to discuss, including resolutions to move forward during the 2025 legislative session.”
