The City of Clovis recognizes the need to conserve water in our community both at home and in our places of work. The City of Clovis’ Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation shall be in effect from April 1st, 2013 to October 1st, 2013. Water users in the City of Clovis are urged to conserve water in every way possible at both their homes and businesses.

During the Stage 1 Voluntary Water Conservation, residents are asked voluntarily not to water their outdoor landscaped areas between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with no watering on Mondays. Odd-numbered addresses should water on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays and even-numbered addresses should water on Wednesdays, Fridays & Sundays. Handheld buckets and shut-off hoses may be used at any time. Reclaimed and greywater may be used at any time. Water runoff from sprinkler systems, washing down pavement, sidewalks, etc. is discouraged.

Should you have any questions regarding water conservation, please contact the City Manager’s Office at (575) 769-7828.
