City Rolls Out Online Scheduling For Public Transit

11/13/2019

City of Clovis residents can now schedule Clovis Area Transit System (CATS) rides online. The City of Clovis has teamed up with Pennsylvania-based scheduling provider Ecolane to provide upgraded online scheduling for CATS. “We anticipate the Ecolane scheduling system will serve our citizens well as it provides another convenient way for the public to schedule our CATS fleet,” said CATS Director Mary Lou Kemp. “We are excited about the features of the system and hope the public finds them useful.”

The upgrade will enhance the customer experience with features like the Self-Service Web Portal and Self-Service Mobile App. According to the City, the system is also expected to increase efficiency for CATS staff by reducing the number of phone calls to the reservation line. Residents will be required to set up their own Self-Service Web Booking account to use the service. Written instructions on how to reserve a ride online can be found here and an instructional video on how to navigate booking a ride can be found here. These tools are also available on the CATS website at www.catchacats.com on the “Reservations” page. CATS will be holding an informational Open House event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, at the Friendship Center located at 901 W. 13th Street in Clovis. Attendees will be able to tour a bus, ask questions with staff, set up their rider profile, see online scheduling demos and more! For more information or to set up your Self-Service Web Booking account, contact CATS at (575) 763-7910.
