CITY INVITING AREA RESIDENTS TO JOIN IN CITYWIDE SPRING GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP EVENT
8:00 a.m.-Noon, Saturday, March 21st, 2015
The City of Clovis and the Parks, Recreation & Beautification Committee will be hosting the city wide Great American Cleanup from 8:00 a.m. until noon, Saturday, March 21st, 2015 beginning at Parks & Recreation located at 500 Sycamore.
Fees at the Clovis Regional Landfill will be waived for Clovis/Curry County residents from noon, Friday, March 20th until noon, Monday, March 23rd during the cleanup event. Dumping of tires will be allowed for residential customers only but limited to nine passenger vehicle tires per household.
“Our thanks go to all the groups, organizations and agencies for showing community pride in helping clean up our city during this annual event. We look forward to another great turnout this year,” advised Parks Board Chairman Commissioner Fidel Madrid.
