CITY OF CLOVIS INVITES PUBLIC TO ATTEND CLOVIS CITY COMMISSION STUDY SESSION ON COMMUNITY FIVE YEAR PLANNING SESSION FINAL REPORT JUNE 6, 2013
In February 2013, one hundred and forty Clovis residents attended a Town Hall at the Clovis Civic Center to make recommendations to the Clovis City Commission regarding their five year strategic plan. The Town Hall was followed by a strategic planning session with the Clovis City Commission and city staff in March 2013. A draft final report has been received from Ms. Kathie Novak and is attached to this press release.
At the June 6th, 2013 Clovis City Commission, to be held at 5:15 p.m. at the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Library, the Clovis City Commission will hold a study session to discuss the document. “We would like to invite the public to attend the meeting to discuss the contents of the draft final planning session report from Ms. Novak and share their thoughts and recommendations with us,” advised Mayor David Lansford Friday. “Once we have discussed the document and received input from the public the Commission anticipates taking action on a final five year strategic plan for the community at our June 20th Commission meeting.” The draft planning session document may be found at www.cityofclovis.org and comments may be e-mailed to administration@cityofclovis.org.
