FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Clovis, New Mexico) Saturday, February 1, 2020—Clovis Economic Development (CIDC) and the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce are working to make Clovis a better place to live, work, play and stay. To accomplish these objectives, they are embarking on an exciting new Clovis Community Branding Initiative.

The goals of the Clovis branding project are 1) unite the community to work together to enhance the reputation of Clovis and 2) attract new residents, businesses, talent and visitors. Consultants Once a Day Marketing have been retained to develop a distinctive community brand, identify ways to strengthen community offerings and experiences.

The research phase of the Clovis Community Branding Initiative is underway and stakeholder interviews and focus groups have been completed. The next phase is a community-wide survey to gather a broad range of resident opinions regarding what makes Clovis a unique and attractive place for residents, businesses and visitors, and to identify ways to make Clovis life even better.

Residents in Clovis and our surrounding areas are invited to complete the brief Clovis Community Branding Survey that is available online until February 15, 2020. For anyone who does not have access to the Internet, the survey is available on paper from the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce at 105 E Grand Avenue. Paper responses must also be returned by Feb. 15, 2020. All responses will remain completely anonymous. The survey can be found on the home page of the CIDC/Chamber of Commerce websites, the City of Clovis’ website or by following the link below.
