Clovis Fire Department Responds to Fire at Hotel Clovis

CLOVIS, NM (April 11, 2025) – At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, a fire was reported in an apartment at Hotel Clovis located at 201 N. Main Street. The Clovis Fire Department responded and evacuated all residents from the building.

The sprinkler system was activated by the fire and caused flooding throughout the building.

There were no injuries reported, and the Red Cross was contacted to assist residents. A temporary shelter has been set up at the Roy Walker Recreation Center, where several affected residents are currently being housed.
