CLOVIS, NM – The City of Clovis is excited to announce the opening of the Clovis Wing-Shooting Complex and Archery Range at Ned Houk Park, located at 726 C R 17. Doors will officially open on Thursday, October 6 at 9 a.m. This newly constructed multi-faceted facility includes four trap/skeet overlay fields, a 12-station sporting clays course, indoor and outdoor archery ranges, an indoor airgun range, and a multipurpose building for hunter education and other activities.
The Sporting Complex is constructed on city owned land and developed by the City of Clovis through partnership with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish utilizing funds from the Wildlife Restoration Fund administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The range is structured to provide a safe, supervised facility for the patrons of the High Plains region.
“The City of Clovis would like to thank New Mexico Game and Fish and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service Wildlife Restoration Fund for their funding support with this exciting project for our area,” advised Clovis Mayor Mike Morris.

“We are proud to partner with the city to provide a safe place for the public to shoot and to practice and develop firearm and archery skills in the Clovis area,” said New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Director Mike Sloane.
