MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BOULEVARD ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

The Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Roadway Construction Project from 21st Street to Llano Estacado Boulevard will begin Monday, September 9th, 2013.    The project is scheduled to last until May 2014.  The project consists of sewer improvements, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, through lanes, two way left turn lane, bike lanes and sidewalks.

The first phase of the project will be the installation of a sewer line underneath the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and 21st Street.  North/South traffic on MLK will be closed from the main PRMC entrance to approximately 300′ south of the intersection.  Primary access to the hospital during all construction phases of the project will be on 21st Street.  The public is asked to please obey all construction signage and seek an alternate route when possible.
