MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. BOULEVARD ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT UPDATE

The Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard roadway improvement project is still ongoing with utility companies currently relocating lines in the area.

The next phase of the project requires the relocation of a phone line prior to over-excavating of the area.  CenturyLink has scheduled contractors to arrive this week to relocate the line and it is anticipated that this work will take approximately one week to complete.  Several utility poles have been either installed or relocated prior to the commencement of this work.  The major road work will resume following the relocation of the phone line.
