NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH/HOME SAFETY MEETING (RE-SCHEDULE DATE)

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH/HOME SAFETY MEETING (RE-SCHEDULE DATE)

On October 10th, 2013 at 6:30 pm Officers from the Clovis Police Department will host a Neighborhood Watch meeting at the North Annex of the Clovis Carver Library.

We encourage citizens who are interested in forming a new Neighborhood Watch group in their neighborhood, or are currently in a group needing needs a refresher to come out and learn how groups are created and how to assist in crime prevention. The Clovis Police Department will also be offering some basic home safety tips to help keep your home as safe and crime free as possible. Handouts will be available and group start up procedures will be conducted. This meeting will also benefit existing Neighborhood Watch groups which have dissolved wanting to become active again. This meeting is designed to help citizens of Clovis reduce criminal activity in their neighborhood.

Please plan on attending this meeting and let’s show criminals we as a community are not going to sit back and let them take our town, let’s fight back. Every law enforcement agency needs a community’s help to make it a safe place to live, work, and play in. For information on the meeting, please contact Community Relations Officer Daron Roach at 575-763-9427 or by email to rroach@cityofclovis.org
