The City of Clovis has been informed today that the State Highway Department has closed the Norris Street BNSF railroad crossing until Thursday evening, August 22nd, 2013. Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) is conducting work to the crossing area.
Clovis Municipal schools are back in session beginning Monday, August 19, 2013. Norris Street will reopen between Lew Wallace Drive and Wilhite Road on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 13th. Minor construction activities will remain ongoing and the public is asked to adhere to all construction signing and markings. The week of August 12th the work zone for the Norris Street Roadway Improvement Project will be expanding. The road will be closed from Sam Snead Place to Wilhite Road.
