Participate in the City of Clovis Mask Video

The City of Clovis is organizing a promotional video to encourage Clovis citizens to wear a mask. As the number of positive COVID-19 cases continues to rise in our area, safe practices, like wearing a face covering, are more crucial than ever. The vision for the video is to feature individuals within the Clovis community explaining why they wear a mask.

To participate in the video, please create a 5-10 second video of yourself wearing a face covering. In the video, please finish the following statement: “I wear a mask…” Here are some examples of what you might say:

  • “I wear a mask to protect my patients.”
  • “I wear a mask because I want my students to return to school.”
  • “I wear a mask for my grandmother.”

Participants may adapt the statement as it pertains to them. It may deal with a particular industry, like teaching or nursing, or align with your personal reasonings. In filming the 5-10 second video, please film in landscape view on your phone. Also, don’t forget your mask when filming!

Please send your completed video to the City’s Marketing Coordinator, Kelsey Knight, at kknight@cityofclovis.org, by Monday, November 30, 2020. Please send the video in the highest quality possible. The City will then compile everyone’s videos into one video to share with the public.

For questions regarding the mask video, please email Kelsey Knight at kknight@cityofclovis.org or call (575) 763-9670.

Please note: By submitting your video, you hereby give the City of Clovis, their assigns, licensees, and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use your or your child’s name, picture, photograph, portrait, visual likeness, or voice in all forms and media, including all social media, in all manners, including photo, film, audio, and video representations. You hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product that may be created in connection therewith. You agree to have read this statement and to be fully familiar with its contents.
